The Elders are the Keepers
Elders are the keepers of our language and culture, and the youth are the seekers of knowledge. It is the responsibility of the Elder to pass on knowledge to the youth. And it is the responsibility of the youth to learn and carry on that knowledge. In that way our language, values and culture live on.
The ways of our people are ancient but they are not rigid. They bend and turn to reflect changes in our culture. We expect young people to have a different interpretation of their culture and different ways of expressing it. This is how our culture grows and how we grow as a people.

It is only now, twenty generations later, that the embers of our Cree and Ojibway people and Our Aboriginal Cultures are beginning to burn brightly once more. A great flame has risen - Eagle's Earth.
Eagle's Earth is a unique opportunity to experience first hand life as it was 7,000 years ago - well in advance of European contact and influence with our people, one of the oldest Aboriginal groups still active today. Eagle's Earth is an authentic and unique experience never yet offered, residing in one of the most beautiful and rugged areas in North America - Northern Ontario Canada.
